Don't know if this is any help. On 1837online I have found a June R Wilson birth Apr-June quarter 1948 ref Hull 2a 536. Mothers maiden name Allen. May help to start you off. Cheers Chris |

I started with my birth cert. that gave me my mums name and address, from the address I was able to track down other people living at that address. I got mums birth cert that gave me her parents and where she was born. take it from there. But I was adopted and got a lot of help from Joan Allan at My Folks web site. my mum is still alive 76 years old. wishing you lots of luck Dave |

Hello everyone, Im brand new to researching family and have no idea where to start, not even sure if i should be posting this here? I am going to try to find out about my Mum who died in Fleetwood when i was just four years old, all i have is a few details, her name was June rose Wilson, my dad was Brian Porter,she was born in June 1948 i think and died in April 1968. Where do I start???? any suggestions would be appreciated. Thankyou people ..........Brian |
