Kilmington and Strourton.

I have found that a lot of my ancestors came from Kilminton and Strourton they had christings and buriels there. I want to visit the area and was wondering if anybody new how many churches there are in that area thanks . |

Graham As Bob has been doing this a lot longer than me, I'm sure his reply will be the most helpful. However, Kilmington and Stourton are only about 15 minutes from here, although I don't know them well. They are quite small places, so I would be surprised if there were more than one church in each place. Also, there is a lovely National Trust place near Stourton called Stourhead, so you might be able to get some pictures of the area from the NT website or handbook etc. |
