	I'm not sure, perhaps it's to do with Gedcom? I do know that for earlier dates people have baptism dates - which do not come up if you upload your tree. Hence a big, blank space.

Gen

	If you mean on GC, this is because people don't know and haven't put it in. Most of them won't be alive. All my living people are listed as 'Living'
