GC Contacts Again!!!! Update

Hi Debbie I found your message in my Contacts and replied from there. Have received confirmation e-mail from GC so perhaps the problem has been solved?? Heather

Hi Sue, I don't think it's any problem at my end. I have received literally hundreds of e-mails over the past few days, including 2 notification e-mails from GC today. But there have been 3/4 over the last couple of days, and 2 today, that I have not received notifications for. Further more I cannpt reply to these people using the 'contacts' e-mail either. Nil comunicado! Debbie

I cannot rectify your problems but I have to say (touch wood) that so far I have not had a problem, either with contacting others - I always get the 'You have contacted' e.mail - or with receiving replys. Is it something to do with your e.mail provider - I was with Talk 21, now Yahoo ? Sue

Hi Heather, Have e-mailed you to test the system. That seems to have gone through ok. Did you reply to your e-mails throught the 'Your Contacts' e-mail? I'll try the contacts again! Debbie

It gets worse! I am now trying to reply to these people, by using the contacts e-mail, as I have no notification e-mail to reply to, and it won't let me!!! Anyone got any ideas? Help! Debbie

Hi I also have this problem but it only seems to happen to me now and then. My husband was off work from Jan - mid April and i had about 8 emails . When i checked on the contacts board i had more than double that from people wanting look-ups etc. I then emailed each one in turn and explained what had happened . I quite sure this happens to most people and thats why out of the 5 or 6 emails i may send a week. I might only have a reply from about 2-3. So i try and check my contact list when i can. P.S iam also sorry to anyone who has not had a reply from me. Sarah

debbie i had the same problem:( i checked my contacts last week and also found about 5 messages asking for lookups!! i really felt awful about it and had to apologise susie

Not sure if this is the right board for this. This is a public apology to anyone who has contacted me over the last 2/3 days. Have just been into my contacts and found 8 messages!! Only had 2 notifications in my e-mail box. Am dealing with them all now. So glad to see GC has rectified the problem! Not! Ironically, while everyone else was having this problem a month or so ago, all my notifications were coming thru!? Debbie
