Sometime ago, I saw somewhere, that LDS has bought up another UK census, but I don't know now where I saw it, and which census (1891 or 1901). "Publishing date" was expected to be within the next couple of years. Has anybody else heard anything at all about this ??

Hi, I think Barry is correct but would like to point out that the work on the 1881 census was not done solely by the LDS but also by members of Family History societies in the UK. The FHS collected and indexed information from their counties, those that were incomplete were finished by LDS members. LDS members in the US input the data that became the original fiche. It was a massive task taken on by the FHS and the LDS as it was totally voluntary - imagine how much the discs would have cost if they had been compiled by paid workers. I doubt anyone would want to take on such a task again - unpaid anyway. Gwynne
