We all tend to use abbreviations that we have learnt, this saves us time but not everyone understands what they mean. e.g. VRI which is Vital Records Index and I have just seen one NBI which I am unfamiliar with. So could anyone who uses an abbreviation(on this site) please put the definition and the abbreviation on this thread. It will help me and all the Newbies. Thanks Pat |
