Is there anywhere to find details of a Master Mariner in latter half of 1800's. Believed he served out of Leith in Scotland as that's where his children were born youngest in 1873. He had died by the time she married in 1893 but can find no details on scotlandspeople.

Thanks got in on www(.)hcmm(.)org(.)uk wouldn't let me in with mission on the end though. Its a site for the Merchant Navy from 1921 but I left a message through the contact me bit and hope to get a reply.
