Hi elaine, someone on Records board has checked 1881, 1891 and 1901 on 1881 nahum on 1891 Nathum on 1901 Nahum which means you could be right with Nathan, but unfortunately it looks like it is Nahum as there is a marriage for him on Freebmd, thanks again for all your help, June

Hi June, The 1881 census has him down as Nahum as well so its probably ok. (Though he may have meant to be Nathan.) The place is just The Village-the family are still there 1881+7 year old Albert and minus Nahun whos moved to Hampstead Norris. Elaine.
