Hi Everyone, Thank you all for your help with this. I used to live in the East End of London (Poplar) up until 6 years ago, and I had never come across it before. You learn something new everyday.......... Many Thanks and Kind Regards, Angie.

Just bye the bye - Middlesex St is the site of the famous petticoat Lane market.

A couple of my ancestor rellies were born in that district, very close to the area where Liverpool St Station was built. This is an interesting link about Spitalfields, Norton Folgate is one of the areas mentioned. http://www(.)thhol(.)freeserve(.)co(.)uk/spital1.html There are some great pictures if you follow the links around the site. You need to remove the brackets around the dots, it's a bit annoying how this site doesn't seem to allow you to post web links properly!

Norton Folgate? It was (or is) supposed to be in Middlesex area, but I have never heard of it. Has anyone else?. Regards Angie.
