Hi Diane,

As most of my relatives were from Llangyfelach I have the parish registers. There is no marriage between a Jenkin Jenkin and Matilda listed - but there is a marriage between JENKIN JENKINS and MATILDA HOWELL at Llangyfelach on 31st December 1802.

This is the only possible match, so it looks like it must be the right one. I have had a look at the baptisms but can't find anything for Matilda and nothing definite for Jenkin (there are so many of them).

Hope this helps. PM me if you need any other parish register look-ups.

Best wishes, Lynn

[or keep searching the Howell family to try to find who Matilda,s mother was] i have 2 leads 1 [name is Mallt verch/ BUT SAYS HERE NAME WAS A WLLIAMS. THEN THE OTHER NAME IS [HOWEL] OR HOWELL/ I AM SEARCHING THE 2 BUT A BIT CONFUSED NOW [HAHA] i hope that you have a lovely Easter and thank you so much. many regards from Diane.
