Looks like you'll have to stump up the dosh and get a copy of the daughters birth certificate.

I'm having great difficulty finding out the name of my g.g.g.g grandfathers first wife! Her name was susan but her surname is unknown. My G.G.G.G grandfather was called Edwin Thomas Blackburn he was born in 1940 in Ramsgate Kent and died in Merseyside in 1907. His wifes name was Susan who was born in Limehouse in 1842, but this is all I know. They had three children. Susan born in 1864, and Rachael Born in 1867 they were born in Deptford Kent, their son, Edward S was born in 1870 in Middleton London. I think that Susan died shortly after as Edwin Thomas re-married. He married a Lady called Elizabeth Greene in 1879, to whom he had 12 Children. I know he died in Merseyside, but I don't know if he lived there with Elizabeth throughout their marriage? If anyone can help I'd be extremely greatful.... Warm regards Mike :-)
