My Scanner won't install!!!

PLEASE HELP! On advice have uninstalled my scanner/tried to reinstall it and it won't work/install properly now. (See thread below) It worked fine before I installed norton antivirus. What AM I doing wrong???? Sob, sob. (did I spell that right???!) Jackie

Hi Jackie, Have you tried turning your computer off and reboot it, before you try to reinstall? That may help. Keith Cairns, Australia

Jackie: After you install the printer software, you may have to install the "hardware." 1. Click on START 2. Click on CONTROL PANEL 3. From the list that appears, click on ADD HARDWARE 4. A "Wizard" window appears....follow the prompts Judy

My scanner stopped working when I changed my computer. Upgraded the scanner (Genius Colourpage 3XE) and can't get the software for that to install either. Tried downloading new driver from Genius site - still no go. Our computer engineer is now contacting Genius for a fresh driver dsisk. VERY annoying.

Thank you everyone. My scanner is now working!!!! Only...... .....can't email the attachments now although saved, browsed but they just won't attach. Went down from 3 certificates, to trying 2 to one per attachment. No joy at all. Do I ditch the scanner or the computer, or simply end it all???? Jackie
