Its a waste of time with Microsoft I think you are going to have to reinstall your Scanner If your computer is detecting it. let it go ahead and install it If not if youhave the disc that came with the scanner.Reinstall with that. Hope it works Joan

Please, please can someone help me. I want to send a scan of some certificates to a fellow member but every time I plug my scanner in, my computer crashes. I installed Norton antivirus some months ago but not used my scanner since. Is it detecting the new hardware and how do I disable it ?(not a clue! Needs to very simple in child easy talk!) I'm going mad here and tearing my hair out. Microsoft keeps telling me to report my problem, which I do, but they don't tell me what's wrong and how to put it right(perhaps they don't talk to idiots) PLEASE HELP!!!!! Jackie xxx
