Hi All, I have just been using this site. You have to switch off your internet security to get in, then switch it back on once your in. I must admit I was surprised it would let me in, as I was sure it would have finished by now! I`m very happy it did though, I`ve just been reading about a rellie who received a medal from the king for "conspicuous gallantry". Apparently he rescued a shipmate after an explosion in the boiler room on the destroyer Daring. Rebecca |

I don't think that can be it I'm only in Cardiff, it won't let me in at all , I choose other then , choose history etc then times database and it always asks me for library code or id. Do you think its something to do with Norton Internet security?? KIM |

Some sites will not let you in if you have a non-uk e-mail address: if you cannot get in are you trying to access from overseas? |

Great site, got straight in late last night and found some wonderful snippets but then it asked for i.d. number etc. Went into other data bases on the general site, same thing, OK for a while then same request. Is it a timed thing, I wonder, or number of searches perhaps? |

Thanks for stuff, Ann , but still don't understand why cannot get on asks me for id after I press other it comes up with options and i choose the Times Database then it asks for barcode or id. Do you have to register?? Kim (WITHOUT TIARA!) |

http://libraryweek(.)galedemo(.)com/itshere(.)htm You're right. I took it off because loads of people said they couldn't get on! When you get to a page labelled options take the box labelled Other not the one named library. The Times is in the list of resources |
