Last week on the tips page (no13 I think) I found details from someone who knew how to delete and start again on the family tree. I know mine is wrong and want to start again. Can anyone help? |

Hi Carole I have copied these instructions for you from one of the help sections of GC. You can remove your family tree leaving only your details, by selecting the "Import/Export tree" area from the left-hand side of the site and then scrolling down to the "Delete your tree" area in the middle of the screen. Select ‘Yes’ (to the question "You have requested to delete your entire tree and this will delete all entries apart from yourself - Do You Wish to Continue?) To remove your tree. Sounds pretty simple. Think that is what I did when I decided to delete the little I had already entered in order to put my whole gedcom in. Good luck Sandra |
