Hello, I have the marriage certificate of my 3xgreat grandparents, who married in 1838 in Bethnal Green, but I can't decipher the name of the street where my 3xgreat grandfather lived. I can figure out most of the name, but I can't work out the first letter, it reads ?elesight Street. Can anyone help? Lucia

Lucia You could try 'Lost London Street Index' - type the above in Google for web address. Unfortunately the streets are listed alphabetically but I think they have an e-mail facility which might be worth a try! Good Luck
