Thanks Kim I will try that out tommorrow at work (fingers crossed my work PC has got Paint on it, as my company have taken everything else off the pc including the games, cant grumble though as I get to surf the net and do alot of my family tree research in work time!) Karen

Open it with paint file and reduce image size by the print preview selection,PAGE SETUP in THE FILE MENU adjust to whatever prcentage fits on a4, you can test by doing a preview. A bit longwinded , but if you haven't got the photo print stuff better than nothing. KIM

Thanks Zoe and Sean for your hints, the only problem is my printer at home has died, so I'm having to save things onto CD and printing my stuff off on my work PC and it doesnt have a photo package :-( I will just have to wait till I win the lottery so I can buy a new printer :-) Karen

Karen If you're using windows: Highlight the file-click 'File'-'Open With'-choose Microsoft Photo Editor When image is loaded rotate the image (thru 90 degrees), click 'File'-'Print' Check the 'Fit to page' and 'Allow distortion' boxes Click 'Properties' and make sure A4 is selected Click 'OK' Click 'Print' Works for me Sean

you need to reduce the image size. they've been sent to you larger than A4 so they will just be printing what they can fit onto the sheet of paper. When you reduce it make sure you don't overwrite the original as you save it because it may become hard to read and you'll need it at the original size to interperet it.

Hiya I have a few census images from Anncestry that kind people from here have sent me. How do I print these off? I have tried but they only print the top right corner of them in a huge size. Any hints will be greatly appreciated. Karen
