Is anyone here familiar with the town of Somerton in Somerset? I have a few certs and census records for people living in St Cleers Somerton in the 19th century, I looked at a map of Somerton but there seems to be several streets with this name all running off each other. Is it possible to work out which is the right street? Many thanks. Lynda Australia

Lynda, I know Somerton vaguely (a lovely place!) and have had a quick look at multimap (dotcom) - there is a St Cleers and St Cleers Orchard leading off but this site should show them all clearly if you choose the 5000 scale option. Hope this helps, Sheila
