I think I've got a bit of a moan of me today. But i'm sorry I cannot help it. I know this subject has been brought up before. But it has really wound me up today. You contact someone in the hope that there is a link and guess what they don't even bother replying to say YES or NO. Now that would be courtesy wouldn't you think. Well the subject has been brought up and people have said well maybe they haven't recieved the e.mail etc etc. Well believe me they have. Cos I have been in my contacts and found that several of me e.mails have been removed from the contacts list, with out even a courtesy e.mail to tell me whether there is a link or not. How rude!!!!

I know Siobhan,It really is annoying.this subject has been brought up so many times now,i believe those who cant be bothered to reply also cant be bothered to read these message boards.It doesnt take a second to mail are reply.I have been left so many times wondering if my messages have been recieved.I feel better for that little moan. What REALY p*****s me off is the people who take the time to put their tree on this site and then when you go to contact them either their e.mail addy is incorrect or out of date so mails keep coming back as undeliverable.....AND GC say they cannot contact the offending member, despite having to give a snail mail addy when we join, they can only do so by E.Mail !!!!! Perhaps GC should do something about these members after all the site is called Genes Connected and I thought the idea was for us all to try and connect with each other were possible, otherwise what is the point of coming on the site. It is unforgivable not to reply the only excuses being, sickness, holidays or computer broken. If there is no link then a simple nay would be enough to let that person get on with her search. It does happen that you can get a message in your contact box but no corresponding email. It happened to me twice over a few days. Finally after convincing GC that I do not have a junk filter they admitted that there could be a problem that mails were maybe not being sent when their server was down, and they were looking into changing the way mails were sent.

Nina It could be that they are not getting the e.mail. But the fact is, the ones I have contacted have gone into their contacts list and deleted my contact to them without even a boo as a reply. Damn right rude. I am sorry but there just is no excuse and it winds me up. As you can probably tell.
