Hi Stewart - they should be at the Essex Record Office in Chelmsford, although it might be worth contacting the church direct in case they have some there. Maz. XX

Hi all, my great great grandmother was Elizabeth Higgins b. 1844 Loughton, Essex m. Thomas Sear in 1863. I know that her mother and father were John Higgins (b. 1809) & Frances Jacobs m. 1834. Using the IGI online I've found Parish Records for lots of Higgins' in Loughton but I'm trying to conect John to them. I believe his father may be Robert Higgins. Does anyone know where I would find the Parish Records for Loughton? I'm hoping I can find his christening to prove who his father is, I can't find it online. cheers Stewart
