Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the National Archives website holds records on deaths at sea. I'm not sure if it is just for Navy personnel etc or if everyone is included.

Does anyone have any idea how I would go about researching an ancestor who was lost/buried at sea please? Thanks
