I will help too,did a course on Calligraphy many years ago,and still have books on old handwriting,the monks were the best,think of all the time they had on their hands. trish

I could have a go for you if you look. I did a degree in history so am fairly used to deciphering old texts. Cant promise anything though!! Lindsey

I have received a copy of the original marriage certificate of my G G Grandparents today. I have had big problems finding any info on the bride's family and thought this certificate would help, but I just cannot decide if her name is the one I have been searching for. Is there anyone on here who is clever enough to be able to read old writing please. M.
