Why doesn't my homepage display number of new matc

That's definitely what it is - I deleted a couple of inlaws, which brought my number of unique surnames down to 100, and the message has re-appeared ! Simon |

Sue, That's a good thought. On my last updated tree there were a fair few new people, which took my surnames to 102 - perhaps the limit is one hundred. I might just delete a couple of un-important people to bring it down and see if the updated names message comes back. Simon |

My homepage just lists the number of names and the number of unique surnames. I wondered whether it depended on how many surnames you have in your tree. Sue |

Simon, I'd begun to think my memory was finally going as I too have noticed that now I have to go to names summary and look at individual names for new additions whereas at one time my home page displayed a message saying how many new names had been added for my all surnames. Don't know why - perhaps we're a victim of the success of the site and they can't add them all up anymore.:-) Judith |

I'm not sure if that is what you mean but if you go to Names summary (just to the left) you can change how often you are told of new names that have been added. Steve. |

Since I last updated my tree a couple of weeks ago, the homepage no longer displays that 'n number of matching surnames has been added in the last x days' message any more - has this feature gone, or do other people still get it ? Simon |
