I have found the people I want using 1837online in marriages registered in april, may, jun qtrs 1924. but when i go to order it online it asks for specific month. months given as choices are march, june, sept , dec. do I choose June qtr? thanks Darren

...Just a thought. It takes awhile to order your certificates online these days, anything upto 6 weeks apparently. You could order them direct from the office where they are registerd. That seems to be the quickest way.

Darren, You can leave it blank if you don't want to give it a reference. I use it to remind me what they are so BC-MAG is birth cert for Mary Ann Goddard etc. The again I order loads of them - poor wallet :-( Rick.

Heather

Heather Report 15 Apr 2004 23:38

Darren If it is in Nuneaton, you will get it in less than a week. Heather

Rick

Rick Report 15 Apr 2004 23:41

Darren, It's 10 working days normally counting from the day after you order. Plus time in the post - allow 3 weeks. That's how long my last ones took. Rick.

For my ref I usually put first few intials of name and then whether the cert is Marriage, birth or death... I did this until I was ordering a death certificate for a McCarthy and my ref was Mc-Death! My last certs had a waiting time of 3 weeks then didnt turn up for another two weeks after that! Guess it just depends on where they come from. When I enquired I was told that they aim to get certs out within three weeks but can take upto 6 weeks. But it does give you estimated date of posting when you order goes through!

I was hoping you'd read my message before you ordered. They usually send them out very quickly from Nuneaton. Heather

Heather, The best of it is, They have a website coming online sometime this month, and you can should search it and order online. My 2nd Cousin has been transcribing for them and even told me Foleshill was included.....I've really got to stop going down the pub.

Yes, I saw your earlier message about the records coming online. I'm looking forward to that, some of the records in the library have faded away. By the way, were any of your Whites in Attleborough in the 1800s? I've lost some! Heather
