1891 census & sailors

If you type in your rellies details and omit the area that you expect him to be residing, then it should come up on board ship if that's where he was! Pat.

Hi How can I find out where a rellie was if he was on ship when the 1891 census was taken? I know on the 1901 you can search vessels but can you do that somewhere on the 1891? TIA
