Karen, there is a new thread regarding Ancestry (15.04.04) titled '1901 census good news', started by Sally Knapman. Don,t believe all the bad things you hear, I'm sure that paid up members have no regrets and are usually willing to do look ups anyway! all the best, Pat.

1871 gradually being added too... although not "my" counties yet lol and I was amazed to see the 1901 census appearing on there too... didn't see that publicised...

Karen I find Ancestry REALLY helpful, and now it has the 1891 & 1901 it makes it even better, although of course not all areas are covered at the moment, but most of my relatives were Londners, so I'm lucky. Lynda

I'm sure I've seen many threads on Ancestry.com but now can't find any and sorry, didn't pay attention earlier as I had no intention of ever subscribing. But, now I think it might be helpful but don't want to subscribe for the free trial if it turns out to be not so free after all. And is it worth the $80 to subscribe anyway?! Sorry for asking this question again as I'm sure you've already answered it many times over! K.
