I brought my sister a family tree book a couple of years ago from a mail order book ie Ace or studio (no longer stocked), since then I would like one myself but can't find one anywhere. Its quite a basic book , but allows for lots of pictures etc , more of a photo/type album with family tree connections than a heavy referance book , any ideas of stockists?

Try Amazon. A while ago I posted a reply on a thread about carboot sales, saying a friend had found one of these books. Someone asked if I knew if it was still available (I don`t think it is). She said that she`d found a similar one on the Amazon website. Hope this helps, Rebecca

Saw one at the weekend in "Dobbies" garden centre here in Edinburgh, for £4.99. It was hard bound, had pages to fill in 4 (Ithink) generations, lots of picture pages and was called "Our Family History" Really quite nice, basic book for the money. Don't know if you have Dobbies where you are?
