Crista Ii do have a rough idea of ages so I will have a look at that site and see if I can come up with anything. Thanks ever so much for your help with this. I really do appreciate all the advice you have given me. Kathleen was married in the UK and I think she would have been 40-60 when she emigrated. Trouble I have is that this is my dads family and he Ive had no contact with him for 12 years, plus he didnt have contact with kathleens family so its all made more difficult. Lindsey

Lindsey, I assume Kathleen and Christopher were married in the UK and the children were born there also as Kathleen would have been in her 40s - 50s when she moved to the US. It would really help if you knew the ages of the children because you can check Texas marriages since 1966 here: http://www(.)courthousedirect(.)com/TexasMarriageSearch.asp Crista

It was the Kathleen born in Dec 1904. Died in Dallas, Texas. If you could find anything I would be very grateful. I believe her husband was called Christopher Jameson and they had at least two daughters, possibly Kathleen and Carol(e) if thats a help. Ive had no luck finding them but of course its likely the girls married. Thanks ever so much for this Lindsey

Lindsey, Which Kathleen is the right one? I might be able to find out some more if I know which state/town she lived in. Crista

Lindsey, You can order the death certificate from the same site. The informant might be a relative. Crista

Some of my relatives emigrated to the USA around the 50s or 60s. Are there any sites that may be useful in tracing these relatives. The person concerned is a Kathleen Stoddart, married surname Jameson, who emigrated from Northumberland. Any advice appreciated. Lindsey- I have found a death record for this person. Any ideas how I can go about tracing her family now? I cant find anything on IGI, Ancestry - anywhere really
