Thanks everyone, It looks like you could be right, I have now found 2 more children christened in between the last 2 Seth's and 1 after. that's a rate of 1 a year,93,94,95+96 not bad going!! Sue

I have three Williams born to the same parents and can only account for the death of one, though to my knowledge none of them survived childhood. Fortunately, the next 3 boys all did grow up which is why I am here!

Some of them are daft enough for anything - hubbie has a family with THREE Marys - mind you they had 12 children - 10 of them girls so I suppose they ran out of ideas lol ! Sue

I had thought of that but I cannot find a death for the one christened in 1689, also that would mean that they had named 3 sons Seth and I dont know whether they would have done that. It was bad enough with the first child called Seth cause he was christened twice!

I have Seth Richold Christened 17/03/1689 at St Botolph and also Seth Richold Christened 23/01/1695 at St Dunstan, No deaths except for a previous Seth Richold with the same parents. The father (another Seth!) was originally a church of England minister but after leaving the church he was connected with the Protestant Huguenots due to him being of French descent. Is it possible that he had Seth christened C of E in 89 and then christened Protestant in 95? Sorry if it is confusing but didn't know how else to put it! Sue
