Hi Deryn, I found that Ada was born at the end of 1893 in the Pickering district on here: http://freebmd.rootsweb(.)com/cgi/search.pl This means she would have been 7 at the time of the 1901 census, so I searched for Ada Watsons who were 7 years old. on here: www.censusdecoder(.)com There were several hits. I checked what towns and villages were included for Pickering here http://www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/REG/nry.htm and saw that Thornton Dale was one of them. Crista
