Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 1,133 Send Message	I have asked a similar question and was told about a publication called Kelly's trade directory. My library only had this year's copy but perhaps bigger libraries or record offices may hold older ones. Also if you know the area I wonder whether the phone books would hold any info. I have one of my grandmother's which has their first business advert and phone number in - they were a grocers. Regards Abigail

It also has the Kelly's guide on there too. Also checked out www.victorianlondon.org thats been helpful too. Hope this helps others too.Thanks again!
