Help please I am still in a jam even with an answe

Hi, I sent someone an attachment which they couldn't open and they asked me to copy and paste it.......complete instructions please as I haven't got a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers..Please see second message further down this thread Lynn

Hi Lynn, It's very easy. Depending on the type of document, you can usually left click your mouse and drag it over what you want to copy (should all turn a pretty blue!) then right click your mouse and click copy. Open your e-mail right click again and hit paste. Hey presto! All should be on your page! Sometimes you have to do it from the 'edit' function at the top of the page (usually between file & view) but the principle is the same - hit copy, highlight what you want to send, the on the e-mail page right click and paste. This may for others be easy...where oh where am I going wrong....Spent ages trying but no matter what i do it doesn't happen.I know if I do it once I'll remember for ever..but just once is all I ask.Either no copy or copy & paste or not highlighted...feel a real Idiot..please please help Lynn

Hi Rick..Sorry took so long to get back but took dog for a walk.Anyhow I am trying to send a marriage cert to someone.I have scanned it and its in tif form if this means anything.The person the other end can't open it and has asked me to copy and paste it to him ....alright if you know how. I'm getting hot under the collar as it must be so easy and I can't do it cheers Lynn

Hi. Can you get an image of the cert. onto your screen? If so, then highlight it all, then right click your mouse and click on copy. Now open a new e-mail and address it, then select paste from the tool bar.....and up comes the cert! Good luck Joan
