Hi John Happy Easter! I thought it was census' bit then found out it was censuses. And as for the batter, I thought it was a case of one size fits all. Jeanette:-)

John, 1. According to my dictionary - censuses. 2. The batter is carefully fitted, like being measured for a suit. Just be careful of any pins which might be left in during the fitting. The batterers can sometimes be a little plastered.

First I hope I am posting this on the right board!!!!! 1.What is the plural of Census? Censusi? censusssss, number of 's' depending on how many you are talking about? 2. How do they get the fish to fit the batter?
