Peter Watt, born Thurso 1900, died in Canada 1951. I have photos but no info. What I would like is to find when and how he reached Canada, and where he died. No idea if he married either, but he was a cook in a logging camp. Sorry, not a lot to go on, any ideas folks? Regards, Derek in France

There are several Peter WATTs on the online immigration database, but none seem to match your Peter. Could it be that he went out before the dates covered by this online record, ie. as quite a young man? It might be worth checking the Ellis Island site too incase he went in via. America as many people seem to have done.... I don't have much knowledge of records, but it might help narrow your search.

Many thanks, Gwyneth, have tried most routes, I think this one will have to rest for a while, unless someone has a bright idea. Good hunting and thanks, Derek

Hi there, Why not try this web page: www(.)collectionscanada(.)ca/020202/0202020201_e.html If you can find his death certificate it will probably give you more information. I would think that it will tell you who his wife was and from there you may find his marriage. Mary
