Sending Multiple e-mails ???

Is it possible to send an e-mail to several people at once ?? In this case, I would like to send a mail to all members on the "German Searches" thread. It would be much easier if we could define such Special Interest Groups (SIG) and send to the SIG. I'm sure there are other possible SIGs who would welcome this.

You can send the same e mail to more than one person, pick the address for one person and then the second person etc.you will see all tthe people you are going to send to will appear in the "To" part of your email. Steve.

Bob If you're using Microsoft Outlook, you can set up an e-mail Group, that way you can just select the group name and your mail will be sent to all addresses that you've put in the group. To do this in MS Outlook, select "Tools", then "Address book". A window should pop up to display your address book. From this, select "New", then "New group". Enter a name for your group, then click on the "members" button to add addresses to your group. Click on "OK" when you're finished. When you then wish to send an email to the entire group, you can simply type in the name of your group in the "To..." box. Of course, you have to know the actual addresses, no good for contacting GC members unless you already have their addresses from previous correspondence! I'm not sure whether the above works on Outlook Express or other mail software. Richard

Thanks, Richard and Steven. That's one way of doing it, but it would be even nicer if we could do it "within" GC !
