Could some kind person please tell me where I can order a birth certificate for someone born in Dublin in 1879. Many thanks

The Records Office in Dublin will be your best bet. You could possibly get it from Belfast, as the date is before partition, but I would not count on it. If you go into the GRONI (General Records Office Northern Ireland)site it might gve you some info. But Dublin is cheaper, even with the Eoro hassle. If you look at Theresa's thread on Irish websites, you should find the address for the Office in Dublin. Paul
