Does anyone know how I can trace someone who has submitted information to Family Search ? Checking through some records I've found one of these is a relative of mine, Janice Dee Yost. She contact my Mother several years ago for details about the family who emigrated to America. I have written to the address given on the Record but so far have had no reply. If you're out there Janice, please get in touch. If not, can someone help/advise ? Mary Brooke

Tried that Brenda - it was a name database site and when I typed in the name I wanted it came up zero so I've been searching all through other sites by just listing the name. No luck so far and with eyes now popping out of my head I'll give it a rest for today. I'll not give up on this one. She's out there somewhere and must be keen on geneology to have submitted records to family search. Thanks anyway, it was always worth a go. Mary

This may be an obvious suggestion Mary, but why not try emailing them LDS people - there's a "Feedback" option on their home page, they may pass the message on for you Just had another thought - go onto the message boards on Aancestry and search for Janice Yost - there's someone with a matching name that's made several posts - it lists her email address. Might not be the same person but worth a try !

Had e mail this morning from another rellie in America as a result of a posting I saw on ancestry. I e mailed her about four weeks ago and had almost given up - at least its a start and if I now find Janice it'll be a bonus ! Mary

No longer trying to find Janice Dee Yost !!!! Through contacting another rellie, Melinda, via ancestry message boards I've discovered that Janice is my Mothers niece and Melinda lives fairly close and is in regular contact. I'm just so thrilled to have located both these people so quickly I had to let it be known. It makes all the times I hit brickwalls pale into insignificance! Mary
