How do you add grandparents to family tree

Hi Anne, go to Your Tree and click on either of your parents names. Their information will then come up on the screen, and at the bottom, in green, there is a choice of who you can add. Father, Mother, Partner or another child.

Could someone please explain how to add grandparents to your family tree please. I have added my mother and father but it dosent explain anything else. I only joined GC yesterday and am new at this so any help would be good thanks Anne
