Hi Gwyn Not so long ago the same thought occurred to me. I had some baptism print outs from some parish registers I'd been looking at. I did a search on here and came up with 2 matches. I emailed both people and got a reply from 1. It turned out that the info I sent her had helped unravel a mystery with regard to an illegitimate child. I've also done this with some headstones I found in our local churchyard. My youngest daughter was bored so I took her off to the cemetery (as you do! lol) to find some names to look up on the 1881 census. I found matches for 3 of the names on here and emailed the relevant people. All replied thanking me for the information. Jeanette

I realised that some pages of our older parish record printouts of marriages actually often have one, if not more, other marriages recorded.... I've just looked through the names and found a fairly sure match, for one person and a good possible for another, against names on G.C. so have just contacted the people ,who posted the names.... I wonder how many of us are holding information that could help others on the board?
