On Durham records on line www.durhamrecordsonline.com/index.php there is a lot of information about miners. I found this very good as it explains about the miners bond and why they moved about so much. Look at miners lives. Mary |

I have a lot of relatives who were coalminers in Northumberland/Newcastle area. Does anyone know of any useful sources of info for people employed as miners? |
