Hi William, Quite understand your point there and of course it is nice to have links however remote. In the case that I was enquiring about however, the other party didn't even have anyone of the same forename, place of birth of even near dates. Even the surname was spelt slightly differently. I may be showing my naivity here,but I nearly always put a "link" if there's even a possibility whoever I'm enquiring about may be the same person. William Russell Jones Cefn Mawr Wrexham.

I think if you delete the contact from "Your Contacts" then the link should disappear! It worked for me when someone unconnected linked to my tree a while ago. Barbara

Hi, Sorry I have been off the site for a while due to pressure of work. Upon my return I find that someone has linked to one of my relations but when I follow this link - there isn't one. I think they just pressed the add link button by mistake. Is there a way to delete this link at all? Janet
