Hi Clare, I must be running a less sophisticated version - I have nothing below print setup. I have just spent a couple of hours deleting over a hundred individuals manually. Now I have to pluck up courage to delete my GC tree in order to upload my gedcom... Liz

It may depend on which version you are running, but it is definately there below print set up.

I've looked under "File" but I can't find anything that will help. Any more clues? Liz

Using family tree maker you can privatise your tree so it wont show details of the living, not sure what details it changes ie names to living. Its under the heading 'file'.

I have my tree containing 1200 individuals on Family Tree Maker. If I upload it onto GC it will include names, DOBs etc of living individuals. Is there any easy way of diguising the details of living rellies or will I have to do it individually, which may take hours? Liz
