I had a large family on a census and the ages had been written on the wrong line - all the children had another sibling's age! It threw me at first but I was still satisfied it was the right family. Extra children on a census might have died later and so you wouldn't have known about them - try checking the death indexes. On the other hand perhaps they are not the right families after all. Only you can make that judgement. Anne

Ages can vary quite a bit depending on who gave the census information, one of my families all lost or gained years once mother died, I guess she was the one who had kept track of birthdays. If the Curnow names are in the right order and within a few years I'd say the family could be 'yours'. Have you seen them on the 1891 census?: William 47 Elizabeth J 46 Jane 22 Minie 20 John 18 Grace 15 Mary A 15 Richard 12 Bessie 9 Edith 2 Bertie 2 In Camborne RG12/1851 fo 91 p8 Judith
