May also be in local Records Offices (just used Essex R O for Brentwood Congregational Church which was described as "Independent" on IGI) |

Hi Laura Non Conformist registers are registers from Churches other than the Church of England for example methodist and baptist chapels etc. Most of the records of these (except Roman Catholic) are held at the family records centre in London. Hope this helps. Sharon |
