Hi Denise. Don't THINK there is one like this in Canada. Are you in Victoria, or are wondering about Victoria? PS It's after midnight here. I'm from Ontario and have some websites -- am wondering what you are looking for.

Hi - I'm in England at the moment but actually live in Kelowna, BC - going back for Easter - can't wait. I'll ask my friends about any websites like this in Canada - she's been into family history for years.

If you don't get an answer by "tomorrow", I'm sure my mum would know. I think I remember my aunt mentioning a visit in May -- but perhaps they came over every few years in May. (Don't remember if SHE saw them, or their parents saw them.) You might also try Cyndi's List for Canada. That is a very useful site. You're right, time to turn the computer off before my hubby throws a shoe at it. :~) PS Found this, but after quickly scanning it, didn't see a month mentioned: http://www.lynximages(.)com/royaltour.htm (They visited in 1939) Me again: "1939 May and June The royal couple visit Canada, the first time a reigning monarch visits Canada" and "1939 September Soon after their return from the Canadian tour, the Second World War begins. The Queen and her daughters decline safe haven in North America, choosing to remain in England" from: http://www.cbc.ca/news/obit/queenmother/timeline.html.

Denise: Glad it helped. I've not been successful in finding information from the 1900's, but if you need any other websites, or can narrow down what you are looking for, perhaps I might be able to point you in the right direction.
