Didn't see it last night or this morning (I'm at work now) but it could have got mixed up with all the spam my son's getting and been deleted in error ! |

Sorry, I got a disconnection just as I sent it - I assumed that as it was in "My contacts" it had sent OK. |

Haven't seen the e-mail yet but have copied you reply over from "Your Contacts". The Stepping Stones census I have got doesn't have a Master CD, but I am sure that I can work that through from your very detailed instructions. Thanks again. |

Thanks Geoff, I've got Stepping Stones. Did you just set up a directory and copy the CDs to it? Which file did you have to re-name and why? And is it quicker access? It certainly would save having to hunt out and insert the CDs. |

I've just given it a try - yes, it was possible with mine (Stepping Stones). You don't need all the files and have to rename one. |

Can any computer whizz kid tell me if census CDs can be copied to the hard drive to give quicker access? |
