How true are the qtr and years information on bmd for the above site? Sue................

Hi Sue, Long time, no speak! Marriages and deaths should appear in the same quarter as the event took place, as marriage entries were placed in the register at the time of the wedding and deaths have to be registered witihin 5 days. BUT you have six weeks to register a birth, so a birth that took place in March, may not have been registered until April, and would therefore show in the June quarter. (not March) Debs
