Been in a bit of a muddle and got some wrong details down but try as I might I can't seem to delete the people that shouldn't be there or amend details of those that should. Tearing my hair out here not to mention a headache coming on ! Help please !!!!!!!!! Mary Brooke

Hi Mary If the people you are trying to delete have children added, you will have to delete the children first. If it's going to be too long a job, ask the GC administrator to do it for you. Jeanette

Thanks Jeanette -I'll ask the administrator to do it save me the headache of it. My own fault for not checking and double checking before I put them on.Oh well, live and learn, Mary

Hi Mary Made the same mistake myself , had someone married to their father in law ......oopps Click on LOAD GEDCOM IN LEFT HAND MARGIN, SCROLL DOWN TO DELETE, THIS WILL DELETE ALL OF YOUR TREE EXCEPT YOURSELF. PAIN HAVING TO RE-ENTER THEM ALL, BUT ITS NICE TO HAVE IT RIGHT. Shirley

I've got my tree on paf anyway its just the one on the gc site that I want to edit the bits where I've made a mistake. I don't want to miss any possible contacts. Mary
