Hi GC members, I have posted my family tree at tribalpages. the link is... www(.)tribalpages(.)com(/)tribes(/)silusdoom Just remove the brackets. The password is "Melsonby". The password relates to the village to where my Bakers lived in the 1680s. The password 'hint' relates to a pub called "The End of All Things PH" that is shown of maps of the village in the 1850s. Sadly this pub no longer exists. I have quite a few old photographs taken between 1870 and 1910 posted on the site. The Bakers is the pick of the bunch. Hope you enjoy the site. PB

Looking very good Paul. I really envy you having all those photos, I have hardly any for my tree and those I do have are relatively recent ! How on earth did you come by them all - were they all kept in the family somewhere ? Simon (NB : you can really see a strong family resemblance in those pics through the generations).

I agree Karen, too me there's no point of having the site on the internet if you don't want other ppl to see it. It allows you to hide all living ppl. And I want ppl to see and make contact Jackie

Thanks for your comments both here, and those left on the Tribalpages website. I'm glad you liked the photographs. In reply to your query Simon, the photographs were distributed throughout the family. Althought, the majority were kept in a metal box in the loft of my dad's sister. They were part of a photo album, which appears to have its pages separated, and possibly distributed amoung family members in the long distant past. Someone, somewhere may have the other pages (given that there are so many of my Great Great Grandfather William Baker, and only a few of his sister Jemima, my guess is that it's Jemima Baker's descendants who have the other pages) .
