Thanks Gen - that looks like the marriage as Everall isn't a very common name - don't know about the death though -seems to be a few John Ephraim Mantles. Still don't know if there is a connection with my Rickwoods and Mantles but now I know who Everall is if they do fit in somehow. Thanks Christine

On 1881 census there is John Rickwood Head 44,Everall Rickwood Wife 51, George Mantle son 19 Faversham Kent, Thomas Rickwood son 17 Faversham Kent. Looks like Everall has been married twice. What is interesting is my grandfather's name was William Rickwood born 1888 Faversham Kent married Edith Pegram. Edith's parents were Richard Pegram and Julia Mantle born 1865 Islington Middlesex. It is very frustrating because there seems to be very few records for Kent available. Christine
